Amber Griffin was born and raised in Houston, Texas. During elementary and middle school, she faced teasing and bullying because of her height and thin physique. While in middle school, one of Amber’s teachers suggested that she consider modeling. At the time, she was too young to fully understand that possibility, so she chose to complete high school first. After graduating, Amber enrolled at the University of Houston, where she studied fashion. During her first year of college, she was approached by a modeling agency that invited her to participate in a modeling competition in New York. While in New York, she was scouted by an Italian modeling agency, which led her to move to Milan and pursue a modeling career. After living in Europe for three years, she moved to Los Angeles and signed with L.A. Models. After two years and a successful modeling career, Amber decided to return home to Houston. However, after only a year in Houston, she chose to relocate to Dallas to build a new life.

Amber met her husband in Dallas, where they married 11 years ago. She also started her first business, Model Prep. Helping girls aged 11 to 17 build self-confidence using modeling techniques. Today, Amber has several projects in the works and is thrilled about her new role as a podcast host.
